Introducing Lucy...

Yes, we are officially insane. I am due to have this baby any day, and we got a puppy! We have been thinking about getting another friend for Keva to play with lately, he seems so lonely. So we started searching for dogs, labs in particular, but everything we found was either too expensive or too far away. Then we went and visited our old neighbors in PG last week, and it turned out their lab had just had puppies. So voila! We had our dog.

We brought her home last night and I was very worried she was going to have a hard time being separated from her mom and siblings and would whine all night, but she was perfect. We put her outside in a pet porter with some stuffed animals and a blanket and she slept quietly. She is only 6 weeks old and is the sweetest little thing. Her and Keva get along perfectly, you can tell he is so excited to have another dog around. And of course, the girls absolutely love her. Pressley spent 90% of the day today sitting outside with Lucy. She would sit in the swing with her or cuddle up on the ground with her. I would catch her just sitting there staring at her and laying her head on her. She was too sweet! So far everyone just loves her. She is fun to play with too, and good exercise for the girls. She loves to chew on toes and has so much fun chasing the girls around trying to get them.
