The first night we stayed in Prymm, NV at Buffalo Bills. We met up with our friends, the Flitton's, who were going to Disneyland too! We ate some dinner, went on the log ride (which Jordyn was terrified of for some reason!) and called it a night so we could be ready for more driving Sun. morning.
We headed for L.A. Sunday morning which was only about a 3 hour drive, but thanks to it being the end of Thanksgiving break and there being construction through Barstow, it took us over SIX hours to get there! It was awful! But, we finally made it and the girls, and Jon and I, were so excited to see Disneyland!!! We got settled in our hotel and then went over to our friends hotel and had some dinner and went swimming. Then it was early to bed to get ready for the big first day at Disneyland!
Monday morning we headed into the big park! The girls wore their princess dresses and were so excited to see everything. BUT, we made a BIG mistake! We walked in and went into Fairytale Land and since the line was short we chose to go on the Snow White ride first. WELL, it was dark, and loud, and the witch scared the girls to death! So, we ended our first ride in the Happiest Place on Earth in TEARS! Awesome! After that ever ride we got in line for the girls were nervous and would ask Is it loud? Is it scary? Not what I had hoped for for their first trip to Disney, but they did have a good time! We went on Small World and the tea cups, which were the all time fave, and Dumbo and they started having a very good time. Then we decided to go wait in line to see the Princesses. This was SUCH a long line! I was a bit disappointed that that is the only way to see a lot of the princesses. We waited for about 90 minutes, and the girls did pretty well waiting, and I think it was worth it! They were so overly excited to see the princesses, and we got lucky and they got to meet two of their favorites! Ariel was the best! She was so nice and cute with the girls. She talked to them for quite a bit, and her voice was so cute! Pressley just didn't even know what to think about meeting her! So sweet!
