Balboa Park

We ran into Santa on our way into the park!

On Saturday we hung out with our friends Krista, Dustin and Alex. We went to a yummy place for breakfast called the Broken Yolk. It was delish! Then we headed to Balboa Park. We had also never been here before. It was so pretty with all of the old building and beautiful architecture. You can spend forever there going through all of the museums! They had activities for the kids to do and booths to walk through. Unfortunately it was a little colder that day, and we weren't quite prepared for it, so we kind of froze a little. But we wandered all over and saw some really neat things.

Pressley being goofy!

Pressley was exhausted from walking by this day and was pretty whiney. She didn't want to walk at all and my back had pretty much had it from carrying her around all week. So, we had to deal with some melt downs, but we made it through the day.

a meltdown moment!

We stayed till 5 when the museums had free admission and let the girls all go run around in the kids museum for awhile. They loved it and played stayed entertained forever. Once we were done at the park we headed to Old Town and ate at a fabulous Mexican restaurant. The food was awesome, the waiter and the loud band, not so much! But, we were with great friends and it was fun and yummy!

Sunday we headed back home. We made the drive all in one day, and it wasn't that terrible. The girls did great considering we had been on a marathon vacation all week. We had a great time with all of our friends and it was so fun to get away from all of the work and house and "stuff" that you deal with day to day! Hope we get to do it again soon!
