The most wonderful time of the Year!

We stayed very busy this holiday season and loved every minute of it! We spent time with all of our family and friends and did lots of different activities, and made sure to get in plenty of relaxation time as well! We enjoyed having Jon home from work and the girls out of school. There were lots of jammy days and watching movies and playing the wii.

We started with taking a family picture for our Christmas cards. Jordyn was all for the pictures, until we told her she couldn't keep her stuffed Shamu in the picture. After we took it, all we got were pouty faces from her. But, all in all, they turned out okay.

Jon decided we should wear our jammies and robes in the pic since "everyone" does their pics in their clothes!

We had our first family party of the year at Jenny and Travis'. We ate a yummy dinner of appetizers and enjoyed each others company. We had a great time with everyone!

We made another gingerbread house this year. The girls love this! Although this year Jordyn just wanted to eat the frosting! They did a great job sharing and putting the candy on.

We also went to the tree lot and got a real Christmas tree this year, (and Jordyn made sure to tell EVERYONE it was a REAL tree) made Christmas cookies with friends, had our Bylsma family Christmas party, and baked goodies with Grandma Barb.
