Our Park City getaway

Last Sunday Jon and I ran away to Park City for a little getaway. Our 9 year anniversary is coming up in September and Jon will be gone for it, so we celebrated a little early. We went up about noon on Sunday and ate some yummy lunch at Bandit's on Main Street. Then we wandered down to the Farmer's Market. They had a lot of neat stuff to check out, and we got some cute things. Then we went and did the Alpine slide, coaster, and zip line. Jon had never done the slide, so we were excited to do something different and new. It was so much fun! The lines were a little long, but not terrible. One of the best parts was the quiet ride up the mountain on the tram. It was so nice to have some alone time without kids for a minute. The slide was fun, the zip line was okay (not quite as thrilling as we expected it to be and the line was WAY long), and the coaster was awesome! We had a great time.

After all our excitement we headed to our hotel to hang for a bit. Then we went back to Main Street and stopped in a few places. We ate dinner at a place called Grappos, at the very top of Main. It is a cute little Italian place, and was so very good. We had a great dinner that was prepared beautifully, pics for you mom! ;)

We came back home the next morning and got right back into being mom and dad. We had a great little getaway though, we needed it. It was nice to spend time together and enjoy each other again!

What a cute couple!

It was a beautiful day in Park City.
