Mona Reservoir

Sunday we went down to Mona Reservoir with some friends and took the girls on wave runners for the first time. I was worried that they would be scared or nervous, but they both hopped right on and went for it. Pressley was a bit hesitant when she was sitting on the wave runner getting pushed out a bit, but she was excited to go out on the water. Our friends also had a blow up truck that the girls got to sit in and get pulled behind the wave runner. Again, I thought they would be nervous to do this, but they both went for it. Towards the end of their last ride in it they got a little too daring and started leaning over the sides and were about to tip over any second. Thank goodness Jon got them back to shore in time, and over Pressley went. She was able to stand up cause she was in shallow water, but she wasn't too happy about falling in.

I just stayed on the beach the whole time and watched. It was nice to hang out and relax for awhile. Mona Reservoir is the perfect place to go play. It's very pretty and not too big which means not too many people. We had a really good time. Of course the girls were beat! But they had a blast.

This past weekend they also got to camp out in the back yard with their dad. Jon set up a tent for them Friday night while I was at a jewelry party and they made smores in the fire place and slept out. I was surprised that they stayed out all night, but they didn't wake up till about 8. We woke up to Pressley yelling Mama! She was trying to unzip the window to get out instead of the door.

Getting ready to go play!
