Christmas Eve

Every year for Christmas Eve we go to my Aunt Joan's house with most of the Strasburg family. We eat a yummy dinner with turkey and ham and all the fixings, visit and tell stories, let the kids play, visit with Santa, and open presents. It is always a lot of fun and great to see everyone. We have done this get together on Christmas Eve my whole life, and I am so glad my kids now get to add it to their Christmas traditions. They remember the party and look forward to it every year. After Joan's this year we headed over to Lyn and Jeannine's and took the whole party with us. We all had a good time visiting and catching up over there too.

When we got home from the parties we let the girls open one present each, jammies and slippers. They were so excited to get Hannah Montanna jammies, robes and slippers. They put them on and headed straight to bed so Santa could come. We had a great Christmas Eve, as usual, we are very lucky!
