Later that night we had a dinner at BYU. I wasn't too excited about the fact that it was held at BYU, but what do you do. I guess I was expecting more. There was a decent turnout, maybe 100 people. But our graduating class was about 500, so there were lots of people missing. Unfortunately, only two of the girls I danced with were there. I was really hoping to see the girls I was on drill and orchesis with, I haven't seen them forever. But I visited with quite a few old friends, we had a nice buffet dinner, watched a slideshow, and filled out a questionnaire about '98. Jon was a bit bored, as to be expected, but we had fun sitting with Bekky and Jenny Hopkinson and her husband and some others. It was fun to go and see everyone and I look forward to our future reunions.
Afterwards Jon went home and Bekky and I went to see Sex and the City. I have been dying to see this movie. The TV show is one of my all time faves, and I was overly excited to see the movie. It was all I had hoped it would be. I cried, laughed and everything in between. Bekky and I had a lot of fun seeing it together, and of course taking pics. We looked like we had dressed up for the event, people probably thought we were crazy, but little did they know we had been to an event before. We did look pretty good for the movie though.
After the movie we went to Denny's to hold up one of our long time traditions. We ate, took goofy pics, and stayed up way too late. It was great to see Bekky again, even though it was so short, and we had a great time spending the day together and with all our old schoolmates. It is hard to believe we have really been out of school for 10 years already!
