Happy Halloween!!

We had a great Halloween this year, and seemed to be dressing up every other day!
Jon and I went to a friends Halloween party a couple weeks before Halloween and dressed up as "yuppies". Jon came up with this idea, and I guess we pulled it off pretty well. He did anyway. His wig and mustache were hilarious.

The weekend before Halloween the National Guard had their trunk or treat out at Camp. We took the kids up and braved the cold for some candy and some fun. It was pretty fun! There was a ton of candy, clowns, balloons, hot dogs, cotton candy, crafts, and blow up bouncy houses. What more could the girls want?!

Both girls also got to dress up at school for their Halloween parties. They were so excited to wear their dresses to school and of course to get more candy!

On Halloween we went and trick or treat'ed at Grandma and Grandpa Strasburg's, then to Grandma and Grandpa Bylsma's. Then we headed back here to our neighborhood and wandered all around with the neighbors. The girls got a ton of candy! And the best part was the weather was pretty decent for once! The kids had a great time running from door to door with their friends. Even Ryker liked it for a bit. He especially enjoyed coming home to help eat the candy!

And to top off our Halloween night we went up to our friends house for some home made soup, scones, and goodies! YUM!!
