We had a pretty laid back 24th. Jon had to work so I was home with the girls trying to keep them entertained and me rested and off my feet. We decided to go out back and have a pool party. We set up the little pool and the big water slide and the girls had a blast. They are like fish when it comes to the water. After swimming we went to dinner at Chili's with my parents. Then came home to wait for it to get dark enough to go out and do fireworks. The girls were so excited to do fireworks, but I think they thought we were going to see the big ones in the sky. We haven't ever really done the small ones with them. When we did the first fountain Jordyn went running into the house with her ears covered. She hates loud noises and these fountains whistled. Pressley followed her at first, but then toughened up and came out with us. Pressley realized she liked them and stuck around. She even held her sparklers, and eventually do did Jordyn. I think overall they had a good time with the fireworks. It was fun to watch their reactions.
